FSASC launched the third Virtual Panel Discussion at the end of June to continue the discussion about helpful tools in the recovery process of your ASC after the COVID-19 closure.

It’s been 6 weeks since the state of Florida opened up elective surgery for ASCs, but that doesn’t mean ASC administrators have had an easy road. It continues to be a challenge navigating the guidance and recommendations all while doing what is best to protect your patients and your staff.

Next Steps in Facility Recovery After COVID-19 Closure

FSASC launched the second Virtual Panel Discussion at the end of May to discuss helpful tools in the recovery process of your ASC after the COVID-19 closure.

We heard from members regarding their concerns for their centers as they resume surgery following their COVID-19 closure. Centers are concerned about the safety of their staff and patients in reliability and availability of testing for the virus and how to keep up with the guidance and regulatory requirements for running a healthcare facility.
